Laravel installation via composer

In this post explain about laravel installation steps. Now we see the laravel versions and their prerequisites.

  • PHP >= 5.6.4
  • OpenSSL PHP Extension
  • PDO PHP Extension
  • Mbstring PHP Extension
  • Tokenizer PHP Extension
  • XML PHP Extension
  • PHP >= 5.5.9
  • OpenSSL PHP Extension
  • PDO PHP Extension
  • Mbstring PHP Extension
  • Tokenizer PHP Extension
  • PHP >= 5.4
  • MCrypt PHP Extension

Step1:
First, download the composer from http://getcomposer.org/
and installed your system.

if you already installed in your system to check open cmd prompt.

type this command > composer

composerStep 2:

Then we need to installed laravel via composer in our machine.

composer global require "laravel/installer"

Once installed, make sure to place the ~/.composer/vendor/bin
directory in your PATH.

so the laravel executable can be located by your system.

Step 3:

Create Project Via Composer:

composer create-project laravel/laravel blog "5.2.*"

Step 4:

If you are working in local server, you may use the server Artisan command. This command will start a development server at http://localhost:8000

php artisan serve

Step 5:

Generate application key you may use the below command in command prompt.

php artisan key:generate

Once we complete the above steps. Then you execute your local directory, Hope you will getting like this screen.
